7/14/2013 0 Comments Tips for Parents of Intuitive KidsGood morning! I wanted to share some thoughts that popped in my head about helping intuitive kids feel good about their extra sensory perception. When little ones (normally under the age of 7) talk about seeing angels or talking to someone that you can't see, listen to them with lots of faith/sense of believing in your voice and body language. Even if you're skeptical. If they talk about what they experienced, be very supportive of that. If you continue to question them (because you're skeptical) long after the initial conversation, they will likely start to get the sense that what they told you isn't appropriate or supported. Highly intuitive kids are soooooo good at reading people and when they get the sense that you don't support them, they will start to think what they are experiencing as not OK. Around age seven is the time when kids start to turn off their intuition especially if they don't feel supported. Little ones are so connected to spirit because they haven't been programmed not to be...until around school age when societal rules become very important. And anything out of the ordinary is considered weird. The best thing you can do as a parent is believe them. Some will say it's just their imagination but imagination and creativity come from our spiritual connections. Writers and artists will tell you that they don't know exactly where their ideas come from because they are channeling them. The world as it is now is a tough place for intuitive kids so be supportive and know that you, yourself, will truly know when they are relaying a true experience because you will also feel it in your gut. Parent's intuition is a very real...just like their stories of connecting with spirit. xoxoxoo
